2. General information
We take the protection of your personal data seriously and process it exclusively within the scope of the statutory provisions, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking tools, or social media plugins. Third-party content is not loaded automatically; the only exception is the Google Maps map display, which is loaded only after your explicit consent (see section 5).
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by GoDaddy (GoDaddy.com, LLC, 2155 E. GoDaddy Way, Tempe, AZ 85284, USA). When you visit the website, the server automatically records information transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, and browser type and operating system.
This data is technically necessary to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the secure and error-free operation of the website. The log files are deleted automatically after a short period unless they are needed to investigate a security incident.
We have concluded a data processing agreement with the hosting provider pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. As the provider is based in the USA, a transfer of data to the USA cannot be ruled out. Such transfer takes place on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
4. Contacting us
If you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you provide (e.g. name, company, contact details and the content of your inquiry) in order to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your inquiry relates to the initiation or performance of a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries).
We delete this data as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose, unless statutory retention obligations (e.g. under commercial or tax law) apply.
5. Google Maps
On our homepage you can display a map from Google Maps. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The map is only loaded when you click “Load map”. No data is transferred to Google before that.
Once the map is loaded, your IP address and information about your browser, among other things, are transmitted to Google; Google may use cookies or similar technologies. A transfer to servers of Google LLC in the USA is possible; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG), which you give by clicking and which is not stored for future visits. 6. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” and the lock icon in your browser’s address bar.
7. Your rights
Within the scope of the statutory provisions, you have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).
Right to object: Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to the processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).
